Concert and Fund for Farmsteads info: farms@berkshirecommunitylandtrust.org When Colfax Farm lost its lease in 2021 it highlighted the land insecurity faced by many Berkshire farmers who are essential to shaping a resilient local food system in a time of climate change. The Harry Conklin Fund for Farmsteads was formed in response. Through community donations, the fund acquires farmland to lease to a local farmer for growing and housing. The first leaseholder will be Molly Comstock of Colfax Farms. Donations made at this concert will go directly to help save Berkshire farmland and find a new home for Molly Comstock and Colfax Farm. A special thanks to Dan Levinson of Main Street Resources for sponsoring the series.
