"I Am, You Are, We Were" by Jane Denitz Smith, directed by Joe Cacaci. 1914 and Here and Now. The equilibrium of two families—one Russian, one suburban Jewish—is tilted by Bolshevik fervor, loss, and a garage bursting with a lifetime’s worth of possessions. I Am, You Are, We Were explores the depths of love, and the collateral damage of loving.
