About
Locally curated, guided walking and hiking tours integrate the nature, history, culture and spirit of the Berkshires; an easy, safe and engaging way to explore the Berkshires on foot.
This is a facilitated experience. Guides lead guests on a mindful walk that invites them to set an intention, walk with curiosity and let a burden go. Guides share stories the illuminate the history, culture and natural landscape of the region. Guests are welcomed into a safe space that respects the views and needs of adults of all races, genders, gender orientation and preferences. At its best, this is a place where people can connect and breakdown barriers.
The Berkshire Camino experience is ideal for solo travelers visiting the Berkshires and residents who want to engage in a safe, outdoor experience in the company of others. The facilitated and potentially transformative experience encourages guests to unplug from daily life and connect with themselves, others, nature and spirit.
The walking/hiking routes often connect town centers to town centers using a variety of paths including iconic Berkshire Main Streets, country roads and woodland trails. Some of the routes are entirely woodland. Venues of historical and cultural significance are visited on some walks in the Southern Berkshires including Chesterwood (Stockbridge), The Mount (Lenox), The National Shrine of the Divine Mercy(Stockbridge) and High Lawn Farm (Lee). -
