Berkshire Mountain Distillers

Berkshire Mountain Distillers is an authentic, regionally focused maker of small-batch, award-winning craft spirits, in business since 2007. One of the founding members of the craft distiller movement, Berkshire Mountain Distillers supports local agriculture, using regional ingredients in many of its handcrafted spirits.

The grounds of the distillery boast a covered pavilion, picnic tables and a firepit for guests to enjoy the Berkshire landscape. This summer, in partnership with Berkshire Busk!, the distillery will host live music on Saturdays from 2 to 4 pm. Entertainment will be accompanied by craft cocktails served from an outdoor bar featuring the return of BMD’s Cultural Cocktails, craft recipes created by local bartenders and inspired by and named in partnership with Berkshire cultural institutions. From May through September — they’ll bolster connectivity while generating regional excitement across local bars, venues, restaurants and cultural institutions.

Visitors are encouraged to stop by BMD’s tasting room and sample a complimentary selection of artisanal spirits including Greylock Gin, Ethereal Gins, Ragged Mountain Rum, Race Brook Rye, Ice Glen Vodka, Berkshire Bourbon and New England Corn Whiskey -- plus a few limited-edition cask-finished bourbons. Visitors can also taste through American whiskeys from BMD’s Craft Brewers Whiskey Project, the culmination of a six-year collaboration with a limited group of top craft brewers across the Northeast, with new editions added to the lineup in 2023.
