Town of Egremont

The Town of Egremont is tucked into southwestern Berkshire county adjacent to New York State. It is a quaint rural town of about 1,000 residents which serves those who have traditionally made their full-time home here as well as a number of second home owners. Egremont is a quiet town with limited nightlife, low taxes and exceptional public services such as police, highway, and volunteer fire departments. The town has two small commercial centers and historic districts in North and South Egremont.
